About Us

We are a small church, but we believe that is a big part of our strength! If you are looking for a place to worship and fellowship that truly feels like home and family, you may have found your fit with us. We believe every aspect of our Christian walk is about Connection. The connection we have with Jesus first and foremost, closely followed by our connections with fellow believers and the world around us. Those connections make us who we are, and allow us to make an impact in a hurting and broken world.

We believe that once we have Jesus in our hearts, we are the light (Matthew 5:14), and have a responsibility to love those around us with the love of Christ. Our church culture promotes personal and spiritual growth, providing opportunities to serve and learn and expand. We want to offer a safe place to learn and practice and work out our faith in Jesus.

We believe in the message of Jesus Christ: the Savior, Baptizer, Healer and Soon-Coming King.

“Foursquare” is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and of Heaven, as described in the book of the Revelation. The term “Foursquare Gospel” was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination’s founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, Calif., in 1922. It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8, displayed in Foursquare churches proclaiming, “Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever.”

Our Ministry Team

Madonna McDonald

Senior Pastor
madonna-for-websiteMadonna was born in Saint Louis, Missouri. The oldest girl of 8 siblings, she grew up faithfully attending church with her family. As a young stay-at-home mom, she began in ministry at a large local church teaching toddlers. She had a great burden to share the word of God in bite-sized pieces to the little ones, believing that they, too, could learn and grow in their faith.

Madonna was ordained in ministry in the early ’90s and licensed by the Foursquare Church in 2000. Most recently (in 2014), she received an ecclesiastical endorsement from ICFG to serve as a hospital chaplain. This has further advanced her ministry at the Missouri Veterans Home in North Saint Louis County where she visits with the residents on a one to one basis, speaks at CFC-led chapel services and ministers to the family members of the veterans.

Our church began as an interdenominational home church, and Madonna felt God’s call to carry on the work when the founding pastors moved away due to a job change. The church moved from a home to a rented space and finally to our current home in Saint Charles in 2004 shortly after joining the Foursquare denomination. Madonna cares for her congregation by encouraging each one of us to discover our giftings. She focuses on working with our members to grow and serve within our gifts and callings in order to honor God and to serve others.

Madonna is an avid reader who enjoys historical fiction and biographies and would describe herself as a “PBS nerd.” She also loves spending time with her family & friends and working in her yard and flowerbeds in her free time. Her passion is that every person should have a church that feels like home, where they are able to grow in their faith.
